Pint Shop - Oxford

The "bar grub" at this restaurant was just okay, but it did not meet my expectations in terms of food quality. I was hoping for something more based on the description provided.

Delicious meal, perfect spot for beer enthusiasts, extensive selection of unique craft beers, bar staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I had made a reservation for a birthday Sunday lunch with friends. When we arrived at the restaurant, we asked about our booking but there was no record of it. We were told we could sit anywhere and were given menus to order at the bar. We asked about the Sunday Lunch menu but were unsure if it was available. We observed other diners eating roasts but were told there was no chicken option. Despite not being provided with a Sunday Lunch menu, we had to look up menus on our phones. When we tried to order drinks, we were told there wasn't enough rosé available. Eventually, we were able to order drinks but decided to book lunch elsewhere due to the lack of atmosphere and unhelpful staff. Our experience could have been disappointing if we had not made the decision to move locations.

I really enjoy the beer and food at this restaurant. The bartenders are always very friendly and knowledgeable. It's just a shame that there aren't more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.
