Super impressed by this little hidden-away gem of a place which serves scrummy breakfast all day and really good coffee

Arrived at 11am to find cafe half empty and at least six staff easily visible only to be told that the restaurant was ‘not taking walk-ins’. How else are you supposed to get in? Fly? Hover? By pogo-stick? When we said we would therefore reserve,...we were told there was nothing available for three hours. There were no ‘reserved’ signs on the tables. Not impressed. The whole point about cafes is that that you can just ‘walk in’. We would have been happy to queue and wait for an ‘available’ table but this was forbidden. Next time they are struggling for customers, they might want someone to ‘walk in’. Take your custom elsewhere.

We went to the Jacob and field for late afternoon lunch, they had no issue to seat us even with an extremely full restaurant. Atmosphere was great. The waitress was super friendly and had got our order spot on even with all the changes we...had. Food came fast and hot with not a single mistake with our swops and changes! So tasty! I would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates good food and service.

The dining experience was truly delightful with exceptional service. They offer a children's menu which we tried, including the Eiflorentin and crispy chicken pack. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the French toast from the children's menu.

My friend treated me to breakfast at this restaurant on Father's Day and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly, the decor and ambiance were excellent, and the food was even better.
