Chutneys - Oxford

We were in search of a restaurant for lunch, but struggled to find one that was still open as it was around 2 pm and most places were closing. We decided to call Chutneys to see if they were still accepting customers.

I tried the butter chicken and chicken korma at this restaurant. Both dishes tasted overly sweet and lacked seasoning or strong flavors. It felt like they were just cooked in coconut milk with added sugar.

There are numerous vegetarian dishes to choose from at this restaurant! I decided to try the spicy eggplant curry, which was delicious and packed with a variety of vegetables. I also enjoyed a perfectly sweet and doughy peshwari naan on the side.
