Owls Head General Store

This charming little place is definitely worth a visit, especially for the highly talked-about seven napkin burger. It did not disappoint—it was fantastic and easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It’s a bit messy, but oh so delicious! Grab a drink and enjoy your meal at one of the picnic tables. I will definitely be back!

These might just be the best burgers in the state! Be sure to try the 7-napkin burger. I believe it's the simplicity that makes it so excellent—there's nothing fancy about it, just a big, juicy burger. It's a good idea to call ahead before placing your order. There are a few picnic tables outside, but they fill up quickly on busy days. When those are full, people often head to the nearby hill, about a quarter mile away, to sit by the water.

I can’t stop thinking about the seven napkins burger. It’s incredibly juicy and has a nice, loose shape. The fresh toppings complement the patty perfectly, and the sweet, fluffy bun is just right. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a great burger, but this one delivers a truly delicious experience with its thick, juicy patty.

Large small general store with beautiful selection. great sandwiches. our family enjoyed everything they ordered from the 7 serviettenburgers to the türkei julia. the outside seats were beautiful. they actually keep the tables clean, and it is shaded. very friendly people and fast service. hadn't had the fudge, but it looked delicious. there is a lot to do there, as well as from owl’s head lighthouse to free beach access. it was great.
