The service and food was excellent. I didn't take pictures of the food because it looked and smelled so good that I couldn't wait to eat and it was delicious. I had the brisket (moist), green beans, and mac cheese. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Mission BBQ is decent for a chain barbecue restaurant, but it falls short of what I consider great BBQ. There are definitely better options in the Baltimore area for a similar price. The selection of sauces didn't really wow me, and there were times when the pulled pork or chicken was dry and tough. The green beans with bacon are acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. While the food isn’t bad, coming from St. Louis, I expect good or great BBQ when I dine out, and Mission BBQ doesn't quite hit that mark.

After a long day of running errands, we didn't feel like cooking, so we decided to head to Mission Barbecue in Owings Mills, a place we know well. My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich with beans, and he really loved it. I went for the beef brisket platter, which came with coleslaw and a piece of cornbread. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and there were enough leftovers for dinner tonight! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting Mission Barbecue!
