Farm House Grill - Owenton

I don't even know where to begin with this restaurant. It took forever for them to finally open so we could order food. My grilled cheese was so tough I couldn't even cut it, and it had no flavor. The hash browns tasted like cardboard and were undercooked. The country ham was extremely salty and lacked any other flavor. The cookies were rock hard. We came here for a special occasion, and money is tight for us, as we can't spend money from the government. To top it off, they didn't even provide utensils, so we had to eat with our fingers.

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly, however, the prices are a bit high. I paid $35 for a meal that included bratbeef, potatoes, fries, cottage cheese, and a double cheeseburger with bacon. Unfortunately, the burger was overcooked and the bratbeef was served cold.

I went to a lovely little restaurant in a small town where the service was excellent and the atmosphere felt cozy.

This place is a perfect example of why family businesses should not look down. with absolutely amazing eating and powerhouse staff my expectations on the first look were exceeded ten times.

We are new to town and are visiting our local establishments.We had lunch on Meatloaf on Monday. Can I just say she has ruined me for any other Meatloaf?! It was sooooo good, and I can't wait to try the chicken livers and the catfish.
