Thai Food Owensboro

We sampled the Samosas, Drunken noodles, and Kai Pad with homemade sauce at this restaurant and loved every bite. I typically order the Kung Curry, so it was nice to try something different. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the other items, but this photo shows one of the Drunken noodles we enjoyed. The service was excellent, we dined in for dinner, and the prices ranged from $10 to $20 per person. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. We recommend trying the Yellow Curry Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Ramen, and Kung Curry dishes.

Let me start off by saying that we have eaten in dozens of Thai restaurants over the years. This ranks as the WORST Thai we have ever had. We ordered the pad Thai. The noodles were especially soupy. The classic taste of pad Thai was drowned out by a sweet and sour sauce. (I think we have had better luck in the frozen section of the grocery store). We told our waiter that we did not like the food. His response: next time you come, try this .. No discount. No substitute. Nothing. I would recommend skipping this one. This restaurant is delicious! We had crispy wontons, kai pad, and green curry. All were incredible. The kai pad is the best sweet and sour chicken my husband and I have ever had. We were astounded by the flavor in all of the food. The service was great, and the food came out quickly and was piping hot. We will definitely return! I received excellent service from Taylor, who was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. The cashew chicken dish was delicious and plentiful. I also tried the summer roll appetizer, which was mostly good, but the anise/licorice taste was a bit off-putting. My wife ordered the C3 Pad Se Ew and enjoyed the overall flavor, but wasn't a fan of the rice noodles, which were more like butter noodles. Personally, I found the dish tasty and enjoyed most of the noodles. I would definitely give this place another try if I am in the area.
