Longhorn Steakhouse - Owensboro

What an amazing experience! If you leave feeling hungry, it's definitely on you because the portion sizes are massive. Our server, Ms. Morgan, was outstanding, and our food arrived incredibly quickly. She frequently checked in to see if we needed anything and ensured our meals were exactly to our liking. This was a delightful and surprising meal, especially since it was my first visit, but I can confidently say that I'll be returning for sure. Thank you, LongHorn Steakhouse, for the wonderful food and experience!

This was my husband and my first time dining here, as we enjoy trying new restaurants. I wasn't particularly taken by the atmosphere; while I appreciated the spacious booths, the place could definitely use a good cleaning. I noticed there was quite a bit of dust on the lights near our table and on the wooden surfaces. However, our server was very polite and attentive, and we received our food promptly. The burgers and fries were hot and tasted great. Our friendly server really enhanced the overall experience!

The left is an NY Strip and the right is a ribeye. Both supposed to be medium rare...We also had another ribeye that was cooked completely wrong. We waited an hour for a table and another hour and a half for food just to get cold horribly cooked steaks. Very disappointed. The staff was very kind though which is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars.

I had the sweet potato salad, which was good, but my medium-well steak was chewy and had a crusty edge. It was also heavily seasoned with too much pepper and salt, which was disappointing. I had been looking forward to this meal for over six months as a treat for my husband and me. Although I didn’t ask to have it replaced after waiting over an hour for it, I was still let down. On a positive note, the service from the young waiter was excellent. As for whether we would return, I’m not sure.

I rarely ever order chicken when we go out. I usually get steak or ribs but this parm crusted chicken was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so moist. And the Wild West Shrimp appetizer is also a new favorite.
