Grandys - Owensboro

Overall, I enjoy dining at Grandy's. Their food is generally quite good, though I've noticed that when ordering to-go, you sometimes don’t receive a roll with your meal. I also wish they offered drinks as part of the meal instead of charging separately. It's a great family-friendly spot for gatherings and special occasions.

Usually, the food here is wonderful, but my experience on this particular day was disappointing. The eggs were undercooked, the bacon was lacking proper doneness, the sausage was burnt, and the biscuits were doughy. Additionally, they forgot to include the gravy in my order.

This Grandy's recently won the annual white glove cleaning contest and consistently receives positive health department reviews, as featured every Thursday in the Messenger-Inquirer. Additionally, the chicken tenders are a frozen product that are cooked to order.

Always a great place to eat, pricey when having to pay for the drink separate from the meal.

I really like Grandys. They have breakfast now. I had a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Came with a roll. The rolls taste like my Aunt Grace's. Everything was hot and fresh. I enjoyed mine with brown gravy .It was rich and tasty. Covid masks needed until you're eating. Thanks for a good meal!
