Sabitri's Global Cuisine, Nepalese And Indian Food

We traveled on 3. January from Tobermory and found nothing open from Tobermory to Owen Sound. Finally after the call of most restaurants about Google that showed open) and found that none were open, we got Sabitri. A family-run restaurant that is passed on by an aunt that ran before) this bright and welcoming restaurant made our day even more wonderful. The host was gracious and attentive. When we were so hungry, we ordered a soup of Samosas and Momos. They were freshly prepared and delicious. The dal makhanani was vegan, which was such a refreshing change as it showed that they made fresh food on order and not made before. Regarding the Palak: Spinat Vegetation we wanted it to be vegan, so not a distributor, but the cook made it on my request, Lasooni Palak or Garlic Palak. That was super delicious and so fresh. It's another feeling to eat such fresh food. A must to visit when Owen Sound passes. Vegan vegetarian options available. Great service and delicious food.

Food is great, a variety of dishes to choose from. You also have to choose Nepalese dishes such as beef Momos and others. Naan and Roti were made fresh on request. Host was attentive and diligent and ready with great recommendation if you cannot decide. The restaurant was clean and tables were at a distance. A passport is required upon entry. If you find yourself in Owen Sound I strongly recommend this restaurant, you will not regret it

More than just good food! My fiancée and I visited this place on Thanksgiving Monday as we visited the area for our weekend trip. I had called before and made reservations with Sumit. When we visited the restaurant, he remembered everything we had discussed on the phone before. It is a small operation, but attention to detail and excellent customer service is top notch! We really enjoyed eating, but customer service and feel so welcome, this made an amazing experience! We recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit when we are back in the area. Amazing food. Taste really good! We ordered butter chicken, beef curry, and lamb vindaloo. All of them are delicious. If you really like spicy curry you can even ask for hot sauce to adjust the spicy level. The waiter is very nice and his explanation is very clear. The best thing is: it has free Wi-Fi! In one word, this is a really good restaurant you must try!

The food here is so great, felt like home style cooking but restaurant level. The momos are so delicious, you can choose meat or vegan! Very comfortable dining experience with lots of culture.
