McDonald's - Owen Sound

I took my wife our for an ice cream cone and waited over 20 minutes. My number was on the board as next and highlighted in red and yet there were a bunch of people with larger meals getting theirs before me. The final straw was when the girl came out with 2 ice cream cones and gave them to somebody else.

Ordered a chicken sandwich that might as well have been paper. it was cooked to death, and barely edible. this restaurant has a terrible reputation. either the manager is incompetent, or the owner simply doesn't care. or both. next time i visit, i'm ordering a coke...reasonably sure they can't screw that up. my advice to a family sitting...go to the macdonalds at the wallmart....go to subway where you can watch the staff make the sandwiches, or cook your burger at home.

Stopped in for an egg Mcmuffin but they had stopped serving breakfast @ 1115. No problem! just had a Big Mac, fries and coffee. Sandwich was fresh and hot, as were the fries. Coffee was great. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Will have to start stopping by McDonalds more often!

The food is as expected but clean and neat. Nothing to say about being above any other McDonalds. Good value for your food dollar.

Must be a testing store. they have the new kiosks for self ordering. but people are confused around them and the placement causes traffic flow issues.The kiosks don't offer all the combo options and discounts so you try and use the kiosk and then get directed to the front counter anyway. pricing here seems more expensive than other locations not sure why.staff is friendly but there seems to be alot of new people or new processes that they are struggling with. the number on your tickets dont show up on the call board always.the last 3 times we have been there over the summer have all had issues with our orders. items that were not right or missing things like patties. then when you call to let them know its .. well what did you want me to do about it. statement and tone. granted they offered up a free combo and took our details over the phone to be put in the binder for our comp combo..AVOID this McDonald if movies from the theater across the road is getting out its a influx of people that makes it a long and chaotic process.
