Billy Sims Bbq - Owasso

I am a DoorDash or I walked in tonight to the Billie Simms barbecue in Owasso Oklahoma. The woman at the counter looked up at me and said oh you were here for Haylee‘s meal. I said yes she said OK so I stood there and I waited and I waited and I waited. A customer walked up to the counter to place an order for a large order. She fills it first and I walked over to her and I said I’m sorry I I am here for this order. You asked me about it when I walked in. What’s going on oh I’m sorry I haven’t even started it yet there’s only two of us here. Well when a person orders online for delivery the assumption is you’re gonna work on their order and when the delivery person comes, it’s gonna be almost ready not that you wait till customers come in five or 10 minutes later and do their order first and you still haven’t started the online order. I would suggest if you want your food you don’t go to Billy Simms barbecue in Owasso because your service sucks if you order online they’re gonna wait till nobody else is in to work your order and this is not the first time this is happened to us

As a Celiac, I miss eating meat-heavy meals at restaurants, due to the fact so many restaurants put gluten-containing marinades, seasonings and sauces on their foods.This past weekend, I was in Oklahoma and stopped by Billy Sims BBQ with my family. This is an order-at-the-counter place with self-serve drinks. I told the guy who took my order that I am celiac and he instinctively grabbed a piece of bread to put in the toaster, caught himself and asked me if I wanted him to change gloves. He and the manager told me that their potato salad, their meats and their sauces are gluten-free!Aside from their $5.99 sandwich and drink deal which is an amazing value but not gluten-free (my husband ordered it for himself we got a few items to share with family.For $21.99 we got a 3 meat plate which came with 2 sides, pickles, peppers, onions and a slice of bread (obviously I didn't get bread. I chose the polish sausage, sliced brisket and pulled pork along with double potato salad.My other family members ordered the $12.99 smothered baked potato (jacket potato that comes with butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, meat, sauce. They wanted to split it so the potato pictured is only half of the potato! It's huge!This is a casual restaurant chain owned by a former local footballer, and there are locations in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan in the USA.While the brisket was a tad dry for my tastes, I enjoyed all the sauces, the other meats and sides. The service was great and the price was a fantastic value.Visited: April 2024Dietary restrictions: Meats, sauces and potato salad are gluten-free.

The Heisman was excellent as were the sides and I got plenty of food for a good price. Good BBQ.

Food was great! Usually I don’t like ribs from anywhere but Billy Sims I do. The service is great they welcomed us. And the food came instantly. Billy Sims is my favorite barbecue place and I hope you stay in business.

I 'm a rib man, and man, are their ribs the best! My mom bought some from Logan 's and didn 't tell me. So, when I bit in and was disappointed she said they 're not from Billy Sims . I could tell, too. The difference is night and day and I have no reason to ever get them from elsewhere.
