Tazikis - Oviedo

The chicken is cooked well tasty. Their Greek Lemon Chicken soup is NOT Avolomono. The gyros are made with chunks of meat, not shaved from a slow grilled turning roast. But, to their credit, it doesn 't say it is a Greek restaurant!!!

The service was great as was the hummus. However, everything else we ordered was over cooked and tasteless grilled chicken, gyro, and chicken pesto pita. Giving it one star only because I cannot leave a half star.

Hummus with crispy pita was so delicious. Lamb feast was also very tasty, the staff was super friendly and helpful too which was a bonus. Will be back!

First time eating here and I feel obligated to leave a review because of how embarrassingly small the protein portions were. Ordered the lamb and grilled chicken kebab feasts to go. Some how my meal came out to $38 with tip for mostly salad! I really wish I had saved my money and ate elsewhere. Definitely won’t be eating here again anytime soon.

They have a pattern here if HORRID customer service and overcharging. The excuse is always the same ‘our menus didn’t come I yet’ but it happened to me a year ago, posters in here just months ago, and me again just this past month. When it’s pointed out that they are charging more than their listed prices there is no offer to adjust or fix and instead the older (obv mngmnt) staff just watched the most junior staff try and deal (poorly) with this. Literally with their arms crossed smiling, like they hoping for waiting for an escalation. It was uncomfortable and very strange tbh. I was sweet and smiley the whole time (including a 20% tip on take out). Needless to say we asked for our order to be cancelled and refunded when we realized they were going to continue with this borderline illegal business practice.I swore to not go back after their last ‘menu snafu’ and an order was completely different (without being told) because what I ordered on menu was no longer offered. Again a rather shady shyster type operation here. Nothing wrong with price increases, but you MUST post them. Not bait and switch as seems to be a common practice here with the same excuse month after month. Many people are on budgets and deserve to know accurate pricing for what they are ordering. Using Covid as an excuse at this point for failing to keep your posted prices accurate is transparently false.Avoid this place. Sad because typically this is some of my fav type of food (although cannot recommend this place in particular due to poor staff training product quality and above).
