Marco's Pizza - Oviedo

Eventually, one employee left to make a delivery while another stayed behind. When I went inside, I saw my order just sitting behind the counter. When I mentioned that I had waited almost an hour, the girl at the counter simply said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm the only one here, and I can't leave the register." However, she had not been alone the entire time I waited in my car. I pointed out that my food was cold, and she assured me it was under a heat lamp. But heat lamps don’t keep food warm for that long, especially when it has been sitting there for nearly an hour—yes, it was cold! I urge management to educate their employees on the basics of customer service. I am very disappointed with this experience at this restaurant.

I placed my order at 6:20 and received it around 7:15. It's now almost 8:00, and my order still hasn't arrived. When I called to check on it, the person I spoke with, who I assume is working there and had clearly received many calls, mentioned that they were just the driver and that they had received an order from the owner. It seems like the owner’s orders are prioritized, even though they clearly need more staff!

In terms of offers, speed, and quality, my previous go-to pizza spot has unfortunately fallen short recently, prompting me to seek alternatives. The advertised specials seem to be hindered by corporate and management decisions, resulting in significantly longer wait times for orders—sometimes up to half an hour to an hour. Additionally, I've noticed that not all ordered items are delivered, and the quantity of requested extras is often mismanaged. Overall, they have definitely declined in the past six months!

I got a 50% voucher in the post that it could be used on days that there was a full moon of July Dec 2022, and for some reason the code would never work if I wanted to order online, but if I went there personally on the 8th. I was told that the store owner decided to stop the deal that seems like wrong advertising in my opinion, There are other pizza shops that stick to their promotions just not Marcos.

It's OK pizza. Price is comparable to others and suacenis good. Not much to write home about the atmosphere.
