I've always had a great experience with the team running this Dairy Queen for the past couple of years. A few years back, I actually avoided this location due to poor experiences. My only complaint is still about the chicken strips. I don’t blame the staff, but ever since the pandemic, many restaurants have downgraded their offerings, and the once amazing chicken strips have become a disappointing substitute. They used to be my kids' favorite, but we’ve all stopped ordering them entirely. It's such a letdown. Please share this feedback with whoever needs to hear it—those original strips were unbeatable! Otherwise, I really enjoy my visits to the Overton DQ. As for kid-friendliness, the menu offers typical options that kids love, but I would recommend skipping the chicken strips. They can be tough for little ones to eat and are quite small, barely filling up a toddler.
