Kyoto Sushi Steak - Overland Park

Fast,friendly service. The chicken katsu is just like we had in Japan.

Very disappointing meal. Dragon Roll that I ordered was the worst I've ever seen and tasted. Plus for the 2 of us dining, all the food was brought on one plate. Don't know if it was a cultural thing or what. But I usually like to have my own food on my own plate. Perhaps the Hibachi table would have been a better experience.

This restaurant was absolutely mind-blowing! I was shocked; the sushi was so clean, well plated, and absolutely flavorful. The onion soup was light and piping hot, perfect for late November weather. The ginger dressing salad had a wonderful sweetness to it, but not overpowering at all. Their KC Strip Steak and Shrimp was phenomenal; the steak was wonderfully tender and buttery, the shrimp clean and flavourful, and the fried rice had a hint of smokey goodness… Fantastic! My favorite place to get sushi. Without a doubt the las vegas rolls always kill it here. I come back here often for most things one the menu you won't be upset by their food quality. They are definitely a bit pricey… Still 10/10.
