Bäckerei Heimann - Overath

It was really not like we had to starve in the day before. Nevertheless, we were grateful for the tip of our friendly pensioner, because breakfast was not offered. She recommended the bakery Heimann. Just a 3-minute walk from our accommodation. We already saw from afar that this Sunday morning was going lively. Customers were standing up to the door. But most of them just wanted to buy fresh baked goods for home. We were looking for a free space in the guest room, a combination of bakery with classic bar and café. There are also some outdoor seating in front of the café. The friendly facility is well maintained, convenient and very clean. Despite lively counters, our second table, just a few tables from the counter, was quiet and comfortable. “Breakfasts like an emperor, lunch like a king and dinner like a beggar” doesn’t work with my husband and me. We eat breakfast more like the beggars, lunch can be a bit, but dinner can be imperial. The dishes (breakfast, snacks and small dishes) were served at the table. With the notice, please order at the counter. The breakfast offer was very good and we decided at least like a king to breakfast. The baked goods at the counter also looked very good. Live the German Backhandwerk! An attentive and friendly employee offered to welcome our wishes at the table! Very nice! So we gave up our order to give up sausage ham with the hint: 1 cup of coffee € 2.10 for my husband and 1 milk coffee € 2.95 – for me. 1 x Enjoyer breakfast € 10,95. 1 glass of freshly pressed orange juice, fruit, mixed bread basket (2 rolls of choice, 1 slice of black bread, 1 write of bread) butter, various slices, 1 serving of salmon, 1 breakfast egg, 1 slice of natural yoghurt. 1 x Bergisches Breakfast € 5,75. 2 rolls of choice, 1 slice of black bread, 1 slice of bread, butter, various slices. 1 serving eggs € 2.95 The mixture of large and small breakfast was deliberately chosen by us. We couldn't have done 2 x connoisseur breakfast. Our coffee was served after a short waiting period. Our breakfast took a little longer. A lot of trouble at the counter, the tables for the guests for breakfast are now fully occupied. What was then served by the friendly service lady justified the waiting time completely! Our table was almost too small. Luckily there are still “Etageren”. Announced 2! floorers, stacked in height, appealed. To my joy with a lot of “goodness” around it. The baked goods in the basket... This baker really convinced. All other announced drinks and dishes were absolutely fresh and of good quality. The cheese is of course “air up”. A breakfast with rarity for us. Unbelievable, we made almost everything! Payment was made uncomplicated and courtesy of the cashier. Bakery? It's really understatement.
