The Castle - Ottershaw

My friend and I drove to this pub and were pleased to find parking right out front! The staff were incredibly friendly; one even laughed about my sweating, which is quite unusual. The Guinness was excellent, as was the overall atmosphere of the place. Upon our arrival, they offered us a rewards card that provided a free pint for each of us—very convenient for larger groups! The Heineken Silver wasn’t to our taste, but it’s hard to please everyone these days. We’ll definitely be back in the near future.

I had a wonderful roast today; it was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere around us was lively, which is always a good sign of quality food. The desserts were delightful as well. Additionally, the customer service was outstanding.

The food is fantastic and delicious, the service is excellent, and the portions are very generous! It's a wonderful place and definitely worth the money for a family Sunday lunch!

Excellent home made Brat dinner, always busy on Sunday lunch so recommended booking. have always found the personal to be friendly, rental is a bit eccentric, but adds the rest! good place for a quick pint or a more cozy at friends.

Visited The Castle for the first time in 2 years for a Friday night dinner. The new owners greeted us warmly. There was a good selection of ales and lagers on offer, and the food menu was varied. We ordered different mains, and both were exceptionally well cooked and presented. We had the same dessert, and that was very nice, too Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and will return regularly.
