I was extremely impressed with the wide range of vegan options at this restaurant! They offer fresh produce, vegan meat substitutes, yogurts, plant-based milks, snacks, sweets, and even beauty products. While some items, like tempeh, may be found cheaper at mainstream food stores like Subway, many of their vegan products were unique and unavailable elsewhere.

I had a great experience at whole foods today. I was absolutely blown away by the ready to provide vegan options, from a delicious piece pizza to vegan mac and cheese to vegan huh to mochi bites and DIY salads, I was totally overwhelmed in a good way!

I am a huge supporter of independent Canadian companies and I am thrilled to have Whole Foods in Ottawa. It is a one-stop shop for all my needs, which is a dream come true for those of us who lead a vegan, gluten-free lifestyle. I have compared prices on my standard foods and have found little to no difference in most products. Whole Foods also offers shipping for items that were previously only available online, which I greatly appreciate. My friends love it too! They offer a variety of options for everyone, including vegan mochi. My only suggestion would be to add more gluten-free items to their hot and cold bar/buffet. Overall, it is a great spot where everyone can find something they love.

Many vegans were likely thrilled when this restaurant opened, and for good reason. The selection is vast, offering unique finds that you didn't even know you needed. While there is a decent amount of produce available, opting for organic is recommended due to the standard quality of some fruits being subpar. The beauty products on offer are impressive but come at a higher price point. However, what keeps me from frequenting this place is their meat selection, which is categorized based on ethical and humane practices. The most ethical options are far too expensive for the majority of consumers, leaving a disturbing message that the quality of an animal's life is determined by one's financial means. It's disheartening to think that so many people are indifferent to this reality. This aspect of the restaurant saddens me deeply.
