The Clarendon/the Hyde - Ottawa

E had seen the dining rm earlier in the day loved it, made plans to have dinner at The Clarendon that night, 8:30. We sat in the “barrel” shaped booth in the bar room (exactly where we hoped! . At some point, every staff member was doing something at our table: the order, drinks delivered, appetizer and dinner, plates cleared. Every one of them were so nice! The ambience was cozy, too. We had the KFC cauliflower app (yum! . Hubby said the burger was a 4 star, not 5. My little beef pie was insanely yummo. GO!

Good eating, nice atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. it was for lunch with a friend and it was a very pleasant experience. had the thunfischtar and the thunfischsalat.

Great ambience, lovely location, great service, comfy seats…expected the breakfast to be more interesting. Taste was average.

Great service and ambience. The food was delicious and the portion was generous for the price. Overall experience was great. Will come back for sure next time I am in Ottawa.

No pizza which is half their menu. Server had to be asked for everything. Asked us to pay before we were done and didn't serve our last drink or bring a box for my leftovers...had fun in spite of the service and the duck wings were good or they would have gotten a lower star rating....
