The service was great; the patio pleasant. The food generally better than expected. The soup and salads were fresh and the ingredients well selected. Even the kids' meals, which tend to be neglected at many restaurants, were well presented and much enjoyed. A nice evening all around.

We enjoyed the Buddha bowl and the Canada 150 chicken burger. The tomato chicken soup came out hot and very tasty. We would like to go back for their Wednesday Date night special.

We met old and dear friends for a a long overdue lunch on Bank Street. The sun was bright, and warm and the outdoor patio was super. The lettuce/chicken/peanut slaw wrap appetizer was very nice. Three of us had the Monday Special - Fish

I've eaten at the Barley Mow twice in the last month. Both times the service was great and the food was tasty.I have several food allergies, and they were very careful with my meals, and the servers double-checked ingredients on the meals I ordered.I believe they've changed over to the summer menu, so I will have to go back and see what's on offer. :-)
