Suisha Gardens - Ottawa

Quite pricey (based on the portions), but overall very tasty! All the appetizers were delicious and seasoned perfectly. Service was great and overall ambience was comfortable!

The sushi was phenomenal with its high quality, fresh fish. I’m talking sushi-grade fish cut with precision and skill served at the right temperature. The perfectly acidified sushi rice was served at body temperature – the way it should be – for proper texture and flavour. This really makes a difference!

We are frequent customers at this restaurant and always excited to dine at the Sushi bar, where we can watch the skilled chef in action. This establishment, owned and operated by a Japanese family for forty years, serves the best Sushi in the entire city. The private rooms are also excellent for dining with medium-sized groups. We highly recommend trying the chef's choice at the bar, as it never disappoints. Additionally, their draft Japanese beer is served ice cold, making it a perfect spot for after-work gatherings.

Entering this restaurant made me feel like i was out of canada and in japan. I have to say, It was a fun experience having lunch here. Service was great, very helpful and patient as well they have dry asahi , one of my favorite drinks. We had the kamakazi and eb-ni (sorry if it's misspelled it was delicious also the lunch set menu. While others took the salmon dish in which they commented it was pretty good I had the tempura dish which was ok but I guess it's not my cup of tea. I should remove tempura off of my diet . But all in all it was a cool time spent :

I had a pleasant server who was accommodating with our large order and served us a delicious meal. The sushi was incredibly fresh and the tempura was absolutely delightful. I have only been once, but I am looking forward to trying more options and hope to give it a 5-star rating in the future.
