Robz - Ottawa

I went to Robz today for lunch with my husband. It was really good. I had the pulled turkey wrap special which was flavoured with a spicy BBQ flavour. My husband had the roast beef with gravy both sandwich dip. Both came with coleslaw. The food is home cooked the service is very friendly and I would definitely go back

Juicy roast beef on a bun that can stand up to it. I've gone about 6 times now and it's always the same, Great. If your reading this and wondering if you should pay them a visit, I would strongly recommend you do. My only advice, grab some extra napkins.

Food is awesome here. Rarely make a trip to Ottawa without stopping at Robz for a roast beef sandwich.

Robz was quite a find when we went the first time, unassuming, but clean and friendly. Always a "hello" and happy to serve.I always order the Roast Beef au Jus - it's why I go there.I'm not even sure how they do it. The beef is perfect, every time. It's obviously slow cooked into deliciousness in a magical place with unicorns and cosmic, tasty stardust. Served on a gorgeous soft bun.There is SO much flavour packed into this sandwich. I enjoy a little horseradish on the sandwich or on the side.It is ridiculously tasty! Robz, is now one of the only places left I will order fries.I love them here. These are fries I actually get a craving for. So perfectly cooked (double fried I am guessing), it is everything you want in a french fry - crispy, brown outside, perfect insides. Add ketchup, vinegar, or just dip in the" au Jus" - a masterpiece either way.It is a sandwich place - it's setup as a takeout, so the seating is limited. You can sit, by the window at the bar and enjoy the wonderful sandwich, but it's not the kind of place you are going to sit for a spell and chat with old friends. Worth.Every.Penny.Every.Time.Enjoy.

Robz has great sandwiches. The location is convenient. It's a little bit over-priced. They have specials everyday, which they post on their website. Overall I'd recommend it for a good lunch.
