Roberto Pizza - Ottawa

Roberto Pizza is the top pizza spot in Ottawa. The service is incredibly friendly, with a beautiful view of the dunes nearby and a menu that speaks for itself. The Calabrese pizza is to die for! I would highly recommend Roberto Pizza to any pizza lover. It's a fantastic place to impress friends from the city.

The pizza at this restaurant is amazing, and they also have Kitchessipi beer on tap. Each pizza costs around $20, and a beer costs $8.50. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it took about 45 minutes for the pizzas to arrive on a busy Friday night. A tip for next time: head next door for gelato after finishing your meal.

Used to be my favourite pizza in Ottawa. Went back recently and the prosciutto on my pizza was cut in chunks not thin strips like it’s supposed to be (as I’ve had it there before). It wasn’t edible chewy and so salty the whole pizza was a waste. It was takeout and I only noticed when I opened it to eat at home. I emailed the business thinking it might have been a rookie chef mistake and they should know about it (I mean what kind of authentic Italian restaurant puts chunks of prosciutto on pizza? They never wrote back a word. Thankfully, there are now many better options in the city.

Update 1 year later: Still good. But there are so many more pizza places doing very similar pizza, this place is looking more average than excellent. Do give them a try then look for others in the area. Excellent. Pure and Simple...
