Palki Of India Cuisine - Ottawa

We dined at Palki Cuisine for dinner. The food was fantastic with a wide variety of options available at the buffet. Every dish was fresh and packed with flavors.

I have visited Palki twice now, and I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. I am open to changing my opinion based on future visits.

I recently had a fantastic experience at this restaurant.

I decided to visit the restaurant, I called before and confirmed that the buffet was still available. As I came to the restaurant, firstly, the owner doesn't greet or smile. Then as I was about to sit, the waiter offered me to sit in the corner; to which I conveyed that it was a bit tight and that I would rather choose some other table. He was still considerate and took me to another table but then another waiter came and said it was taken and that I should move. Not really a good experience.

I have tried many Indian restaurant; but Palki stands out as one of the few in Ottawa that carries some uniqueness in their style and cuisine. We tasted their Butter Chicken, Eggplant and Chilli Paneer; all the three items were sumptuously unique. Presentation and service were impeccable. The hosts were courteous and eager to provide the best service for the customer. The restaurant also serves as a banquet hall; its décor is destined to please every eye. I will not hesitate for a moment to come back to Palki if I want some Indian food.
