Lapointe Sea Grill Cafe & Deli - Ottawa

My wife, mother-in-law and myself had lunch on their outside deck during a sweltering Ottawa summer day. It's nice to eat outside but boy was it hot and muggy!Anyway, i will now comment on the service and location. The service was very good but not great. She was a competent nice server, probably her first server's job. The location in the Byward market on the main street was fantastic.In terms of food, I thoroughly enjoyed my basque stew. It was very spicy and delicious. It was reasonably priced. My wife and mother in law had the fish and chips and they said it was very good.Overall a good dining experience in downtown Ottawa.

We went to dinner in this restaurant because it offered seafood products, we were not disappointed, flush years caught in cod for our daughter, lobster pasta and salmon combo and white fish with rice and vegetables, everything was very good and impeccable service.

Located in the area of byward market. with an important variety of fish and seafood. very good food. the place (porão) a little but pleasant. Excellent beer. a little expensive.

Been eating here forever. Too bad it's gone down. Service was awful on the patio. You'd think they would have better staffing on a busy Canada 150 weekend with market mobs. I was ignored for quite awhile as others got served. Lemon for water took too long. Blocked salt shaker

Had a work luncheon there a few weeks back, ordered the fish and chips, and they were bar none, the best I have EVER had. Paid a few dollars more than the usual price....but you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.....by far. If I ever want seafood at a restaurant, this is where i am going from now on.
