Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Ottawa

Always a massive hit. Good quality meat, seafood, vegetables and carbs for an AYCE price. I can't get enough of the lamb!! They have an amazing selection of broths, but the spicy butter is the best and most tasteful IMO. Large selection of ingredients at the sauce bar. Service can be a bit slow when they are underoccupied, but if you are patient, it is a great experience and a fun time with friends!

The first time for the hot pot here. Nicely decorated and clean restaurant. There were seven of us and we had each one our own hot pot. We had lamb, beef, chicken, pork and a huge selection of vegetables. Service was very good. Good selection of sauces. If you don't have a hot pot, you have to bring friends.

I came with my friends looking for a new experience, we are all not of Mongolian or even Asian nationality, so we came to know absolutely nothing. The food was really good and the service was great. But as people who had no idea how everything works, it was quite difficult. I think the low-star reviews are more about people who do not understand the concept than actually do not love the food. I think I will definitely know again that there is a less sharp option and since I have the experience this time. I recommend the experience!

If they say spicy, it is spiccccyyy, so I would recommend if you do not have sharp grip to get the simple broth. I had to change him because I had to die. I was not prepared to the level of spicy It wasn't my most proud moment. First time to come here and it was great! I'll be back.

It was really good! The service was decent. Any staff member seemed to be our waiter or waitress. Empty dish removal and water refill were on time and perfect The food itself was very good! I was surprised at how much variety was offered The price was a bit of a surprise. It was a little more expensive than I had expected. I think I'd come again for sure! Some tips; you need to ask for more broth. They will assume you don't wish to start over the boiling process.
