Delicious food. Large serving sizes. Welcoming employees.

The prices at this restaurant are fair considering the quality of the food, and the staff are very friendly and relaxed. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary side dish of sesame drizzled potatoes that sometimes come with the sandwich, which was also delicious.

This restaurant in Ottawa is one of the best for Shawarma. The rice is exceptional and the owner's behavior is amazing. I pray that Allah helps him become successful in his business. Additionally, we received complimentary Canada Dry and were offered extra rice for free. The service here is truly outstanding.

Had to write a review because everyone seems to give it 5 stars and I just can't consider this a five star shawarma, the veggies are fresh and meat tastes good but it's kabob meat not sliced chicken like most shawarma places. The owner/employees are very nice so I will give them a 5 star on service but where the shawarma really fails is the amount of juice this thing has. I'm still not sure where it comes from if it's the garlic sauce that melts or has to do with the vegatables but have your napkins and maybe even a spoon ready for the left over soggy mess you receive once to get to the half way point. If this sloppy part was fixed I'd say it's a 5 star.

After seeing the great reviews I decided to check Donerma out for today’s lunch and it did not disappoint!I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and got all of the toppings. The chicken was seasoned well and very tender, the vegetables were fresh and flavourful, and the dips (hummus garlic) were perfect.Aside from the food being great, there was tremendous value for money all of that food was $12.5/5
