Cora Breakfast & Lunch - Ottawa

I really enjoyed my meal here and so did the others I was dining with. The portions were huge and accompanied by a large amount of fresh fruit.

Visited this restaurant in ottawa during a family vacation. we were ten people, and had two double strollers. the service was great and the server truly served with a smile and passion. he was on the ball with it all, and when he forgot something he quickly corrected himself. cora's is easily located in the downtown area. the prices are affordable under $15 for a full breakfast.

Food at Cora's has always been good. Fruit has been consistently good quality. Service has usually been good, through lunch time rushes, they need to learn a little still. However, Cora's prides themselves as Canadian, but they put American Table Syrup on the table! (At least they do this at the Ontario locations I've been to).Come On Cora, your from Quebec of all places. For Shame. What's worse, I just read a review above that someone in Kingston was Charged Extra! For Real Maple Syrup. What!? First off you're staff has never offered it to me, Secondly, charging for Maple Syrup?! What's wrong with you... you going to start charging for Ketchup too?a Blasphemy to Canadians. So disappointing.

On the last day of our vacation in Ottawa, my friend and I decided to have a nice brunch at Cora's. It was in a convenient location on Rideau Street. We sat in a comfortable booth and the waiter was attentive and friendly. The variety of choices on the menu was impressive and I decided to get the breakfast hot dog dish which included two hot dogs wrapped in crepes with home fries on the side. The potatoes were fresh and as a side order I requested fresh fruit which included melon and strawberries. My friend was happy with her french toast and the coffee was good. For a hearty breakfast whether light or comfort food style, I highly recommend Cora's.

Dropped in here while visiting my stepson. Selection was excellent. Choose the pancakes and bacon. I will say I had to wait longer that I normally have at the Coras in Waterloo, where I live. Everything else was the same exacting standards that I am used to. We will return.
