Chop Steakhouse Hunt Club - Ottawa

Unfortunately the food was not good in any way. Very sorry to leave this review. We previously enjoyed happy hour with a limited menu. Food was inappropriately portioned, not cooked properly and felt like fast food dining rather than high end which would be suggested by the pricing. Steaks were expensive and tiny, fries few and cold, hors d’oeuvres hot, oily and not tasty. Hoping it improves. Staff tried their best to accommodate us which we appreciated.

The staff is just amazing, friendly and polite, always with a smile! The food is to die for, fresh and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our dinner with family and kids and I’d highly recommend it to anyone.

The food was amazing and the service was incredible

It was my boyfriend and I’s first time experiencing Chop and it was amazing. The service and the food was amazing. Everything came out very quick. And because it was our first time, they gave us a free appetizer which was very thoughtful and made our experience that much better. We would definitely recommend and will be back!

I had a great first experience at the restaurant. I was very impressed by how seriously they took my allergies and dietary needs; my concerns were handled with genuine care, and I truly appreciate that. The NY steak and artisan salad were both delicious.
