Carlo's Pizzeria - Ottawa

Friday night we decided to try this local pizza place, unfortunately the pizza was pretty bad. We ordered a large Carlos Special for pickup with one garlic dipping sauce. The price was $43. Kind of expensive. As I walked home I could smell the pizza and it made me excited to have a few slices. Unfortunately my partner and I thought the pizza tasted worse than Pizza Pizza or even Milano Pizza. The dipping sauce tasted like ranch dressing. The entire experience was disappointing and we now know what to expect. Pizza shouldn’t cost this much, bad pizza should cost less. If I could describe the taste in one word, I’d say it tastes like “meh”.

Very good Chicken fingers, Fries ok and the pizza is totally awesome.. Hats off the lady running the place.. My first time and I will be returning..

I was recommended this restaurant by a coworker and decided to try it tonight. The pie was delicious and I highly recommend this place.

Simply our favourite. A neighbourhood institution with delicious food and great prices. And the people are warm and friendly. What more could you want!
