Beavertails Byward Market - Ottawa

Before trying it, I expected it to taste more like bread, but it turned out to be sweeter than I had anticipated. If you're sampling it for the first time, I recommend having it the classic way, or even better, without any toppings. The ambiance is quite delightful; you can sit on the benches outside, enjoy some music, and maybe even dance a little! Enjoy!

I tried BeaverTails for the first time and really enjoyed it! The cashier was also very friendly. Just a heads up, though—if you give these to kids, they can be quite messy!

I absolutely love BeaverTails! It’s situated right in the historic Byward Market. It was quite busy when we visited, but the service was quick! Be sure to grab some extra napkins! It’s always a must-have every time we visit my cousin in Ottawa!

This is truly a guilty pleasure, but if you’re craving something sweet, then this hits the spot. We got beaver tails three nights in row and each time was consistent and great. The staff are welcoming and efficient. The location is also central to many other restaurants. We got this as desert to our meals. Overall, highly recommended.

A local pastry that you have to taste when you are in the corner. We stopped near to Byward Market. You can chose several flavors we stoped on the apple one, on banana with chocolate, on brownie with chocolate and cinnamon with sugar and lemon… everything was delicious even with the rain outside. An improvement suggestion would be to provide a place to stay and ate all the stuffs among with a cup of coffee/ cappuccino or thee.
