Barhaven Vietnamese Restaurant - Ottawa

Haven’t been in almost 2 years. My dish was very good but you can see the difference in the dishes. My wife’s dish pad thai was over cooked noodles and the flavour was just not there. Lots of carrots in both dishes? Shrimp was not that fresh Prices have gone up and quality down unfortunately. Room for improvement. Our server was excellent. Nice to see that some of the staff was still there. Sadly we’re disappointed.

Best Vietnamese food in Barrhaven. Friendly staff and excellent food. Always greeted with a smile. Food is fast and flavourful.

First visit. Nice ambience. Very clean. Fast service. Dishes not as plentiful as others of similar price. Very thin spring rolls. Was surprised that the vermicelli was cut up. Easier to eat with a fork but not traditional. We have not been to any other Pho places in Barhaven so can only compare to those in Kanata.

This is a superb restaurant. It's a great place to take a family or friends. The food is excellent, and honestly I never bother ordering Pho because the other dishes are too good. I am still wistful they took an item off the menu two years ago. The fact it's tucked away in a strip mall is a good thing for the customers that know and love the place. Pretty much whenever I ask my kids where they want to go for lunch, this is what they ask for nine times out of ten. In fact, when we went to a Chinese restaurant last summer, they asked if the food would be like the Vietnamese place.
