Ace Mercado - Ottawa

The ambiance was fantastic, the drinks were quite enjoyable, but the food lacked a bit of flavor.

After a negative experience in the past, I was promised a "world-class dining experience" for my next visit. However, when I reached out to their Facebook page,

I met a friend for Taco Tuesday and had a great experience. The service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful. The location is perfect as well.

We have enjoyed several meals here this summer, and enjoyed all of them. Nice ambiance, great service, but the menu is reduced from an interesting and cutting edge modern Mexican to a more pub like menu including fries and wings - disappointing. Still, food is really well prepared and enjoyable

With tip we paid $73 for 6 4" tacos, chips and salsa - really tasty but only about 20 chips in a small bowl - and a mixed drink. Tacos were good but small; if you're really hungry, at $4.95 a taco it might cost a bit. We ordered the lunch box which gave us 2 tacos and a side. Good, tasty food just too expensive.
