The Vanitea Room a Tea Salon and Eatery

The price of the tea service doesn't match the quality of the food. The scones were served with plastic containers of butter, no clotted cream. The sandwiches were dry. The Victoria sponge was so chewy and rubbery it couldn't be cut with a knife. There are two servers and they appear to have to handle kitchen duties at the same time such that they weren't able to be attentive.

We loved the decor and vibe. It felt sophisticated yet relaxed and welcoming. The service was wonderful and we loved the presentation of the afternoon tea. Everyone thought the scones were delicious and enjoyed the unique savoury items. We were divided on the sweet selections. We would definitely recommend.

Have not been here in three years and wanted to give it another chance because the venue is beautiful, but unfortunately, I was left disappointed with their brunch once again.I do not recommend ordering the Brisket Benedict. The meat was dry and under seasoned, and the buttermilk cornbread tasted stale as if it had been left out for days. The hollandaise sauce tasted watered down and the garlic potatoes were mediocre at best. Overall, the dish was more sweet than savoury which was very off-putting. If I had wanted something sweet, I would have ordered their sweet toast instead.I cannot speak for the Afternoon Tea here because I have never experienced it, but that must be what is keeping them in business along with their drag show events. It is a well decorated space, seemingly great for events, but serving quality food does not seem to be their focus here.

Lovely time celebrating with my nonna and cousin. Brunch tea sampler with unique and I love the savoury croissants and breakfast style three tiered tray! Thank you for creating such a special space.
