South Beach Cove - Ottawa

This used to be a wonderful little bar to visit after a day of biking through the city. Unfortunately, it has now been taken over by a local motorcycle club, and it no longer feels safe. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice if they value their security. It’s a shame; it was once a fantastic spot, but the new owners seem intent on ruining it.

The owner and staff are fantastic! Both the food and service are excellent. Food rating: 5/5.

I stopped by for my lunch break and was welcomed with a smile. The special of the day was the Big Burrito, and it certainly didn't disappoint! I will be coming back often since I work just two doors down. As for parking: if you're not confident in your parking skills, it's probably best to leave your car at home!

Walked out for the first time in decades of giving them my business. 3 new people were behind the bar but none of them could come to our table and take our order. Other tables were openly complaining about lack of service. This all happened at 5pm on a weekday and half the tables were empty.

Great new owners. Food and employees are above Ottawa standards.
