Mom's Kitchen Cafe - Otis

I dropped by on my way back to Brighton after some work in Yuma. As soon as I walked in, I was flooded with nostalgia for the mom-and-pop cafés I used to visit when I was younger. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

Absolutely perfect! This restaurant is a fantastic representation of typical American cuisine, and it definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I can't express how amazing the pancakes were—they reminded me of the best breakfasts from my childhood. I'm quite particular about country gravy, as many places tend to use powdered or canned varieties, but this spot serves the real deal. It tasted just like the gravy my dad and I make at home. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious! I also tried the Spicy Western Omelet, which included pickled jalapeños—such a nice touch. I’m eager to try the chicken fried steak next time I pass through Otis in the evening; it sounds fantastic!

The food was excellent, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly as well.
