The Diving Burrito - OTHÓN P. BLANCO

Not sure if Big Mama took the Diving Burrito, but it was probably a year or so. Diving Burrito is just used as a kitchen for Big Mama's restaurant, so hopefully it won't always be confused with the old place that is out of business.

When the bill came $145 for two creepy meals that were not even on the menu!!! Not here! The food was disgusting. The bathrooms are rough! Eat at the pier!

Food was good as was service, HOWEVER, they tried to over charge for every item on our bill. They gave us a flier for a free margarita, then tried to charge us $11. They quoted price of $2 per beer (typical for all clubs on the beach) and tried to charge us $5 each. We agreed IN ADVANCE OF ORDERING on a price of $20 for a fried snapper. They tried to charge us $35. Won't be going back there! If you choose to, exercise caution! They tried to charge us $82 for two beers, one piña colada and one fish!

Food and service were very good. HOWEVER, if we got the check, it was more than twice what we paid for on the cruise ship. We were told that there was no menu, but the servers wore something that looked like a menu. When we asked the bill, the server told us that it costs more for Americans.

We stopped here by chance while at port on our cruise. We purchased an excursion from Carnival which turned out to be a horrible mistake. We hopped in a taxi and asked to be taken to town to shop and see the beach. The taxi driver took us to the Drunken Burrito. The staff was friendly and service was great, the drinks and food were delicious and looked awesome, the beach right there in front of our table was beautiful. We had such a nice and relaxing time here. Sat there all day. I got a massage just a few feet from our table, we shopped, relaxed, played in the water. Would definitely recommend. This place was a gem found in a rather trashy and questionable port city. The pricing was a little odd as it ended up being a little more expensive than we thought but the $100 for the seven of us was well worth all that we got to enjoy.
