El Emporio - OTHÓN P. BLANCO

My travel companion and I went to dinner, we had such great food. Well prepared steaks, wonderfully crispy pommes, and the garlic bread served compliment is so tasteful. The salad served with the food was good, and the service was with a smile and very friendly. We had a cowboy and a New Yorker, both of excellent quality.

The best empanadas I ever had. The service was nice and the restaurant is also at a cool location. Girlfriend ordered a steak and she loved it.

I have been visiting the EL Emorio for many years. They are on the higher end side of dining in Chetumal but well worth the extra dollar. I'm a big fan of arrachera (marinated flank steak) and they serve one of the largest cuts I have found in the city. They are located just off the water front boulevard so you may have to look for them. However, worth the search. Enjoy!

We (husband and wife couple had at El Emporio the best meal in Chetumal we've ever had. The grilled bread was the first indication of a fine meal to follow. The carpaccio de pulpo was artfully presented and even more tender and delicious. We shared a bottle of good tempernillo along with the steak (pequena?? , fresh grilled asparagus and tasty puréed papas. The atmosphere was warmly lit and quite romantic. The best meal we've had in Chetumal for our frequent visits.

El lugar es muy pequeño pero agradable para estar en familia y con amigos, atienden muy amable y servicial, la comida es buena y no muy cara, es uno de los restaurantes de lujo en esa ciudad.
