Sushi Dokoro Kitaie - Otaru

We came on a Wednesday afternoon. We were the only customers but the couple owners were very courteous and the service quick. We ordered the 12 piece sushi set and tempura set, with a steamed egg. The food was extremely delicious and fresh. Highly recommended to anyone passing through Otaru. It maybe a little out of the way but well worth the effort.

Very cosy seafood shop. The quality of the food is amazing and service by the old couple is very attentive. The seafood donburi and sushi sets are prices more competitively compared to the other stores as well. Highly recommended!

Great little sushi place with fish so fresh it melts on your tongue. Run by an elderly couple she takes heartwarmingly care of you while he prepares calmly the food. The fish slices on the nigiri are quite large, good value for the money.
