GJP Italian Eatery - Oswego

One of my favorite pizzerias in Oswego, NY. Pretty diversified menu for everyone in the family whether it is a quick lunch, dinner or late night dug. Stop, take or delivery available.

Hands down the best pizza (including slices) and calzone in Oswego County. Always fast delivery with fresh, hot food. The number of tables is always clean and they serve your order during sitting. The staff is always friendly and smiling, even if the phones ring out of the hook.

The dining area is spacious and very clean. Conveniently placed television sets set for sports programming were a decent touch. The New York style cake was all it had to be: foldable, oily and tasty. Slices of pepperoni were slightly scrubbed (about far less than you could find on a buffalo style pizza), and that was a good thing. Napkin dispensers are located at each table. That's always a bonus for me. It is annoying if you only have to be assigned a few wipes and ask for more. The French Pommes were a step above average. Red Gold Ketchup though?!?? How much does it cost to buy Heinz? Seriously. Little quibble. I'm a fan of GJP.

The meat lovers pizza is okay, but real salty. Probably better to get it without ham. Cheesy garlic bread is good though, and their marinara sauce is spot on. There boneless tenders are really good, definitely the best thing I ordered there.

Staff very friendly and polite, food is good and portions are big. I had sausage roll and Mac and cheese balls, only ate half of the food I had. Definitely be back.
