La Mela Bacata Lounge - OSTUNI

We were recommended not to miss cafe riccardo but after a cursory visit found the cave bar very uninviting and lacking energy and outside space on cascading steps with no view Why la mela bacata the outdoor space is unbeatable.The seating area is on cascading steps with the most amazing direct view of Adriatic and drink prices compared to its trendier neighbour next door as mentioned much cheaper On another note they have a wide choice of fresh juices A wonderful spot to enjoy a drink before dinner

I deeply admire the person who had the idea of turning the steps outside their house into a bar with the simple addition of bean bags. We say while we waited to get into the Bellavista pizzeria at the bottom of the stairs and had various spritzes mine was passionfruit: delicious and refreshing. A unique bar.

Whereas other people's would see a steep narrow street with uneven steps and put in a handrail, in Ostuni you fill it with cushions and call it a bar. Best decision ever. Good service, cocktails and food and even a top sunset view

If you want to sit and soak up the atmosphere of the old city of Ostuni, and gaze out over the Adriatic sea....this is the place. Just chose your green beanbag (apple green of course La Mela and sit back and enjoy!

Service can be a bit slow but it's worth waiting. Drinks are really good and the view is great. I went there twice, before and after dinner, and both times had a great experience. Definitely recommended
