Burfi - Ostrava

This restaurant was a lifesaver for me. While everything else was closed, Burfi was open and the service was great.

Slightly better than average, customers can ask for more food if they are still hungry at no additional cost. So wonderful!

They relocated to the former McDonald's location, but their food quality has significantly decreased. I no longer dine there.

When I was a vegetarian, it was only places where I could eat a vegetarian foods in my hometown. I´m a vegan now, so sadly, there is no vegan option, because they prepare only menu (soup+meal+dessert) during the all day, sou you can order only one food. It´s OK for vegetarian, who do not follow some slimming diet, because every meal is floating in cream so it doen´t have anything in common with healthy food, but I remember that the food was delicious. They have nice politics with food waste meals which remain after closing are given to the local Food Not Bombs organisation!

First vegetarian restaurant opened in Ostrava. Every day one light indian vegetarian menu (not really spicy) plus selection of indian sweets. Joint kitchen with another vegetarian restaurant in Ostrava Ristorante Rusticana so expect to get identical menu in both. Very good and affordable lunch or early dinner.
