Had the 5-course tasting menu and it was a fine selection of dishes over a 2.5 hour gastronomic experience. Lots of ingredients, sophisticated coating, unique taste profiles, complicated textures and magnificent service, made this evening an unforgettable one.

Excellent input menu with middle portions, as I like it. And the wine pairing was also excellent. If you prefer large portions, this is not really your place to eat.

Super nice welcome, and very good tables beautiful designed menue card. The Menues a very clever mixed with local Swedish ingeredients and the best of an international mix. The described style with the Tapas is very decent if you want to try more or have a tour de Horizont through mid/north Sweden cuisine. They were all great! All good is made in the open kitchen in the corner, every meal gets explained when served and you can trust the waitors wine expertise! Have the best food night in Östersund you can have, in the Republiken.

Really like the paper straws and proper hand towels. Nice to see a bar trying to be environmentally sustainable!
