Poeskaffee - Ostende

This is a great place to stop in for a warm bowl of soup and a nice espresso on a rainy day in Ostende. I had a broccoli soup and an espresso, both were very good. They even have me a tiny cookie with the espresso, along with a milk chocolate and a little orange taffy. The tables are mostly two person and the atmosphere is casual, though it is a sit down and order from your table kind of place. It's a great little cafe and I would definitely come here again! The service was okay but not outstanding, they mostly do their job and leave you alone, which is fine with me but I was hoping they would offer me another bread when mine disappeared so quickly with the warm soup. Lots of older couples here on a Monday, which is cute. The prices are not bad, 6 euros for soup and espresso. Great location also, close to shops, so a great place to stop for a light lunch if you're shopping.
