Contribuiți la feedbackI've eaten her 4-5 times over the past few years. Each visit was excellent. The food and atmosphere are always good.
Despite a really nice atmosphere and original men, the quality of food is sometimes varying) really poor. I never had such rockhard pork-filet before in my life. ALso the experience of the waitors is partly incredibly bad. Asking for separate cheques for 4 persons...simply was too much a challenge.
We were here for a corporate event and one of our colleagues stumbled on this place over the weekend. He liked it enough that we came back as a large group. It exceeded all expectations! The service is second to none and the food is...even better. Get the Salmon!!! Also, they bring Tapas before your entree and it is fantastic too. Take it easy on the tapas or you won’t have room!!!
The starter dishes were a great surprice. Excellent filet of lamb in great historic surroundings. Great service.
It's hard to classify Almani. Some time, long in the past, it must have been a Greek restaurant. But the food has definitely evolved into mostly Germanic. So don't go expecting Greek, because you'll then you'd be disappointed. Go expecting something good, something decidedly sui...generis, and you'll be quite pleased. You order the main course, and drink, and they take it from there. The salad very much a German interpretation of a Greek salad comes with 7 or 8 small plates, some more Greekish (taramasalata, spanakopita), some more Germanic (sweet pickle slices in a sauce), all somewhere in between. Then the main dishes, with in our case a large side of potatoes au gratin. Way too much food, but what else is new these days? We had no room for desserts, so no advice there. But a very enjoyable experience, one we will definitely be coming back for.
