Torggata Botaniske - Oslo

Disclaimer: I'm from the states so my preferences may be different than locals Loved the environment here, so lush with all the greenery. Quiet and intimate when we went (a week night close to closing). Drinks were good though on the sweeter side (most cocktails in Norway seem to be sweeter). You order at the bar which is only noteworthy because in the states it had the vibe of a table service bar, not a downside though (I hate not knowing what to do when I go into a new place, so just noting it). Not sure I'd go back as the drinks weren't my thing, but the atmosphere alone was worth checking out and it was better than other bars in the area. And I can see why many people would love the cocktails, really just depends on personal preference.

I love how it is popping up different cocktail bars all around Oslo, and Torggata Botaniske is definitely one that is worth checking out. It is intimate, the staff and most of the clientele are super friendly, and the drinks are pretty tummy as well. Torggata Botaniske is covered with green plants, which adds a special feeling to the place. The ambiance is absolutely amazing. It is young, it is trendy and the friendliness is at this place is unlike many other cocktail bars in Oslo. They seam to switch up their cocktail menu every now and then because I did not recognize any names on the menu from previous reviews. If that is the case I think that is a great idea. Since the cocktail menu is limited, regular guests get to explore more drinks! Perfect for a Sunday-fun day! As for the drinks me and my friends tried out, Green Elixir (grønn eleksir; gin based), Torggata Botaniske (rom based) and Hustler (høstler; gin based) they were all fantastic. The prices are alright, 121NOK for a drink, while you can get a glass of wine for 88NOK. Either way worth checking out, but if you want a table make sure to show up before 8pm because it do get very crowded on weekends.

Beautiful cocktail bar, cozy atmosphere and amazing drinks. I like the ambiente and the cocktails. I prefer her own cocktails and I was happy every time. but they also have good sets of classic cocktails.

The cocktails were good, but the amount of cocktails was less after the price. the atmosphere was really good, many plants, warm and cozy.
