Stratos - Oslo Norge

This has probably been the worst place I have ever visited! We got our table 45 minutes late, and the staff treated us like we didn't exist. When we offered to leave and let others have our table since we were so tired of waiting and starving, we were told that we had to pay for each guest even tough we did not eat or drink anything. We just waited, got poured beer on by other guests and had to sit in other guest disgusting smoke. I would never go here again

Basically Stratos is the closes thing you get to a NYC rooftop in Oslo (or at least the only one I 've come across so far). The hour long line outside, the to cool for the world crowd and the expensive drinks! At some level I want to say that I hate these kind of places but it would be a lie. There is something about drinking outside on top of a building not caring about anything but what is in front of you at that moment. I am a total sucker for it. The music and the dancing I don 't really care for, but at the same time after a couple of drinks who doesn 't like to shake their butt on the dance floor. The view, the fresh air and a good drink is all I need. A lot of people say the service here is bad, however I must say I think they are pretty nice. Our bartender paid attention to us, he mixed amazing drinks and was polite. What more can you ask for at a crowded bar. If you are one of those people yelling at your bartender, just stop, he will not give you good service! Over all Stratos is an enjoyable place. Just get there early to avoid the lines, get your name on some sort of guest list (I believe they have one) or just be prepared to stand in line. That being said most places around Youngstorget do have lines so I don 't understand the big fuss about it. Probably never gonna be a regular but definitely recommend!

I would give 4 stars because of personnel, but I had such a good time and loved the location so I will give 5. The bar is up in the 11th floor so obviously you have a very good view over Oslo. When the weather is good it's amazing to sit outside and enjoy. But you have the option to be indoors as well with glass windows all around. The music was really upbeat so it was easy to dance all night. A huge plus in the Oslo scene. Haven't been to another place like that. As I said the service at the bar was bad. I asked the guy for a ginger beer and he said they don't have and then I asked if they have IPA and he said no being irritated and then I just said ok give my any darker beer you have and he screamed at me and said can't you see; this is all I have!!!! I was like ok.... He must have a bad bad day! But still it was worth it to go to the club. I paid 100 nok to get in but a friend who went there paid 220 nok the other day because there was some kind of party going on. So be careful with that. For summer time it has become my favourite place to go to!

Really cool place with a great view! The process are steep, but during summer this is one of the best spots in the center of Oslo

Pretends to be high end by having a dress code at night. This is a lie the dress code is barely followed and the club isn't all that great. Good vantage point so you can get a good view of the city tho.
