Jerry's - Oshkosh

This is a charming little spot! We arrived early and were able to choose our seats, but by the time we left, it was bustling with customers. The sandwich I had was excellent, and everything else was quite tasty—though I'm not a fan of the apple salad, which is just a matter of personal preference. The salads are very generous in size, so if you enjoy salads, I highly recommend trying one here. The strawberry shortcake is both delicious and substantial—definitely a dessert to share! The apple salad consists of apples mixed with mayonnaise; I wouldn’t order that again, but I hear it’s a traditional dish. Overall, it’s a fantastic restaurant to visit in Oshkosh, and it's just a short drive from campus.

The ambiance was very pleasant, but I can't comment on the food because my sister and I left due to the rude treatment we received from a tall blonde bartender. We awaited a table to be seated, and when the bartender directed us to the high tables and stools, I explained that I couldn't sit there because they were too high for me, as I have a cane and am handicapped. It’s worth noting that there were no other customers waiting to be seated, and I noticed four regular tables available in the dining room. The bartender simply replied that she couldn't help us. I was extremely frustrated, especially since my sister had just been diagnosed with cancer, and we wanted to have a quiet lunch at the Chalice to discuss our next steps. We will not be returning!

Love the Chalice, you can order some menu items lunch size or dinner size, but even the lunch size is enough. We have dined outside as well as inside and it is definitely one of my fave places. The haddock with brocolli and fried potatoes is so good, and so is everything else.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Warm and friendly. Food is always consistently great. Specials and summer menus a real bonus. Highly recommend.

The food is excellent here! I wish I knew what was in the Chalice sauce so I could make it at home. It has a great local bar feel. The tables are a little close together but the wait staff maneuver through the space expertly. The wait staff are attentive and friendly. I come here every time I come up to Wisconsin to visit my family. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Trust me, you will be taking leftovers home!
