Contribuiți la feedbackTotally should have taken a picture of our beautiful meals... Our food was outstanding, the staff was fantastic and the cleanliness of the restaurant was top notch! During covid we have only eaten out less than a handful of times and here we were totally comfortable and safe. A wonderful evening. Could not recommend enough!
Service was ok. Food was bland. Bruschetta was sweet and had a weird lump of white on top, butter/cream cheese? Alfredo was ok, do they use jar sauce and throw cheese in it? That was the taste of it. Honestly, they give you a **** ton of food, pretty pricey and average food.
I stopped by on a Saturday after my daughter's baksetball tournament. We were seated immediately. Jess was our server and she was on the ball. Jess brought bread, oil, and spice out for starters. The bread was nice and soft and I enjoyed it. I liked being able to prepare it how I liked. Our appetizer was a onion haystack $5.99). It was good with smaller slices, lighter breading, and not greasy like others places I tried. I tried the french onion soup for my side before the main course. I thought it was a big fail. It didn't have pizzazz or pop to it. It was too brothy/liquidy. The cheese was rubbery and not flavorful. I think it actually needed more onion to it. My wife and I discussed how this fell far short from our gold standard. It was pretty dang bland! I just felt like it was lacking in content. After discussion on main courses I went with the salmon BLT $15.49). I can honestly say I've never had a salmon BLT before. Again, I thought the salmon was a bit bland. It looked like it was a bit overcooked. I think salmon leaves so much more opportunity to put your signature on it with something. My wife's chicken parmesan was brought out with regular noodles instead of zucchini noodles. That left about 5 minutes to get it right. All in all, I don't think I would stop here again. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the server Jess, the look of the restuarant. I didn't like the paper over the linen, the sound of paper being folded with turning a table over. Most of all though, I just want more flavor, zest, explosion, or some type of wow with my food.
Benvenuto's Italian Grill was a very clean restaurant. I was seated right away. It took awhile for someone to come to my table. My waitress Aliana finally came. She took my order. I ordered the pasta trio, which came with fettuccini alfredo, meat lasagna, and chicken parmigiana. First they brought out my salad. It was terrible and old. The bread with olive oil seasoning was tasty. I truly enjoyed the lasagna. It was the best part. I added some expensive ass shrimp to my alfredo which wasn't worth it. The alfredo tasted okay but the sauce was watery. I didn't like the chicken parmigiana at all. It was very dry and cooked too hard. The experience was okay but I probably won't return.
Atmosphere: Great amount of parking available here. I love the vastness of the place, you don't feel on top of other guests when dining, the booths are quite large. The bathrooms are always spotless. Service: There have been a few visits with no one to greet us at the door, but the service from there out is fantastic. The servers know the menu inside and out. Food: Their complimentary olive oil bread is SO good, we always get a loaf to go. Their salads always have fresh ingredients and I love their dressing. I haven't had anything other than salads here, but my boyfriend loves their meatballs and my mom raves about the pasta. Overall this is a great spot for lunch or dinner for a date, or with a large group of people. I wish there was one in Appleton!
